Leaders & Daughters - To My Daughter

Lead with Kindness, My Three Warriors

To My Three Warriors,

You are each unique. Beautiful in your own way. Blessed with individual strengths and talents. Embrace them. Focus on them. Lean into them. Define yourself, your own journey, your own success. Don’t let others define it for you. This will lead you on the path you are meant to take; a path that fulfills you and fills you up. It’s too easy these days to let the world define what it means to be a successful woman, professional, friend, daughter, partner. Be you and only you, and be the best “you” you can be. Because you are truly amazing.

As you grow into the amazing women you are meant to be, lead with kindness. Every person, no matter who they are or what they do, deserves kindness. Great leaders can be tough but they can also be kind. Kindness creates. Kindness strengthens. Kindness multiplies. And that’s how the world becomes a better, more peaceful place.

And please, be kind to each other. You will be each other’s pillars during the challenging times and the best of times in your lives — you need each other, will always need each other, so lift each other up, embrace each other, love each other and be kind to each other.

You are my three warriors — each unique and beautiful. Go forth, lead the way, and conquer the world with kindness.

Love always
Mommy
