My Dearest Lola,

You came into this world so tiny and early at 28 weeks. You have faced so many challenges but your strength and wisdom prevailed over it all. I will always love you unconditionally and support your kind, loving and innovated spirit.

I am amazed at you every day as you show me how to live and always look forward and never look back. You’ve taught me strength, patience and how to accept the things you cannot change.

I’ve always told you hard work pays off, to lead by example and if you try your hardest you will always succeed. I cannot wait and see what you become.

I’ve watched you blossom into a beautiful, talented young lady and can’t wait to see where you continue to go and do. You seem to always amaze me with your talent and kindness.

You may have a learning curve but you continue to prove that will not stop you from making the honor roll every quarter or receiving the “hardest worker” award out of your entire class. What an outstanding accomplishment!

I cannot express and tell you how proud I am of you as a mother and proud to call you my daughter.
